TRAVEL GUIDES
Hello, I'm Balta!
Ever since I left Spain, I've been living abroad in Australia and Japan and travelling through Oceania and Asia. I've been diving in the Great Barrier Reef, in Komodo National Park and in Sipadan. I've climbed Mount Fuji, Mount Kinabalu and Everest Base Camp. I've been to the jungle of Sumatra, to the one of Borneo and to the one of Nepal to see orangutans, proboscis monkeys, rhinos, crocodiles and kingfishers. I've done a 200-hour Kundalini yoga course in Rishikesh and... I even found some time to write a novel summarizing what I've learned in the last 6 years 😉
Originally, I decided to create this blog to document my experience with the Working Holiday Visa in Australia and share some tips about it. Today, after more than 4 years living between Australia and Japan and after having visited 43 countries, the goal of the blog is to help those who venture to travel this beautiful planet with travel guides, tips and anecdotes as well as with some interesting and worthwhile life experiences.
Are you ready?!
WHERE HAVE I BEEN IN THE WORLD?

As implausible as it seemed, the prophecy that his grandfather had read long ago in the Sanctuary of Ise had come true: "if within a year the 7 stars are not returned to their place, time on Earth will be stopped forever".
With the shock of knowing himself as the only inhabitant of Earth who had not suffered the halt of time, but with the pride that his grandfather had thought of him for such an important mission, Baru met with Amaterasu and set course for Mercury, a planet that would change his life forever.

Who would have told me that, after bidding farewell to Australia five years ago, I would be writing this post while working in the mines in Australia? Back then, at Cairn’s airport, as I was getting ready to travel to the first country of my 3-month solo trip in Southeast

Vipassana retreat: my 10-day experience (2/2)
Vipassana, Day 4 The Vipassana retreat kept on going. My 10-day experience was far from over. The first hour out of the two at the hall was alright. But the next one was way harder. After breakfast I decided to take a nap (instead of doing some exercise) and, during
Vipassana retreat: my 10-day experience (1/2)
How did it all start? I’m not sure when I heard about the 10-day Vipassana retreat for the first time. It must have been while doing some research on meditation. I know though when it was the first time I meditated. It was back in 2013, which happened to be
