Australia
It was October 2017 when my flight from Barcelona took off. It was headed for Singapur, although that and Kuala Lumpur were just a one-week layover before heading to my real destination: Work & Holiday in Australia.
After dreaming about it for so many months, the moment finally arrived. I had left my life, my job, my family and my friends back in Spain and I was getting ready to walk the path of the unknown in the land of kangaroos and koalas.
I arrived in Sydney and stayed there for 3 months. I then went to Tasmania to try to become a soccer player and, because I didn’t succeed, I ended up going to Mooroopna to do my farm work. After picking millions of apples during three months, I bought a car with a friend who came to visit from Spain. We drove 10000 km, or, in other words, from Port Lincoln to Cairns.
I spent my last 4 months in Cairns, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, working at events and at the biggest brewery in Queenstown and chasing waterfalls. All these experiences, tips and anecdotes are summarized here in form of posts. I hope they come in handy for you 🙂

My life in Cairns
My life in Cairns had just started for real and I was pretty happy about it. That being said, it took me a little over a month to find a job in Cairns. While it is truth that the city is way smaller than Sydney or Melbourne, it is still

So long Australia!
Friday, September 21, 2018. My phone showed 17:30 and 28 degrees. It was a hot day. I was sat on the back seat of Giovanni’s car. In front of me there were Francesco, driving the car, and Kevin, on his left. It was my fourth time going to Cairn’s airport,
